Mentorship
Photography Mentorship, Built Around You
There is no single path to becoming a stronger photographer or building a sustainable creative business. Our one-on-one mentorship sessions are designed around where you are now, what feels challenging, and what you would most like to improve.
Whether you want help with lighting, posing, portfolio development, client experience, pricing, marketing, or the business side of photography, we will create a focused session that gives you practical guidance you can begin using immediately.
What We Can Explore
Mentorship may include studio lighting, editorial portraiture, boudoir posing, working confidently with clients, refining your visual style, improving your portfolio, developing a stronger workflow, or navigating the realities of running a photography business.
Sessions are conversational, honest, and tailored to your experience. This is not a one-size-fits-all class or a collection of generic advice. It is dedicated time to ask questions, work through challenges, and receive thoughtful guidance based on years of photographing people and building successful photography businesses.
In-Person or Virtual
Mentorship is available virtually or in person at our private photography studio in Vacaville, California. In-person sessions may include hands-on lighting demonstrations, portfolio review, shooting practice, or guided work with a model, depending on your goals.
Let’s Begin With a Conversation
Tell us where you are in your photography journey, what you are struggling with, and what you hope to accomplish. We will help you choose a mentorship format that makes the best use of our time together.
Helping Photographers Grow
Artistry — lighting, composition, storytelling, posing.
Business — pricing, client communication, workflow, marketing.
Experience — creating an environment where clients feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely seen.
Photography mentorship sessions can be in-person in our Vacaville studio or virtual, and are available to photographers from Sacramento, Napa Valley, the San Francisco Bay Area, and throughout Northern California.
